Hello. My name is Brian A. Yeager. I am an evangelist in El Paso, TX USA.

If you are looking to learn and obey the truth as it is revealed in the Scriptures, there are some things you should understand about this website. This website is very similar to the New Testament in a way. The New Testament is written primarily to those who had, in the first century, already learned the Gospel and had become followers of Christ. For example, Romans, I Corinthians, II Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, etc. are letters written to those already in Christ. The things contained in those letters were lessons meant to address things those particular saints were doing, not doing, etc. This website is primarily lessons that are taught here in El Paso, TX USA among the saints. They are mostly things, for one reason or another, that these saints need to study. If I were to teach somewhere else, I would not teach these lessons the same way. While the conclusions would remain the same, the way in which I would approach those subjects would change. So, what does that mean for you if you are visiting this website?

If you are not a faithful follower of Christ here in El Paso, you might learn some things from the lessons on this website. However, they might not be delivered in a way that would be most beneficial to you. Like the Eunuch, you might need to learn something in a way you can understand it from the Scriptures (Acts 8:25-39). Therefore, I invite you to contact me personally. I can learn about you and help you learn the Scriptures from where you presently are on your quest for the knowledge and proper application of the truth. Let me guide you through the Scriptures. Do understand though, I will not soft-pedal anything (II Corinthians 3:12 and I Thessalonians 2:1-12). Write or call me if you’re an honest seeker (contact information).

I don’t want your money. There is no place on this website where you will be asked to give money. That is what false teachers seek after (II Peter 2:1-3). I do not want you to blindly follow me either (Matthew 15:1-14). If you were to follow me, you'd have to be sure I am following Christ (I Corinthians 11:1). If you will study the Scriptures with me I will ask you to make me prove to you that what I am teaching is only what the Scriptures teach in their proper contexts (Acts 17:10-11 and I Thessalonians 5:21). I understand the consequences for changing God's word and you should too (Proverbs 30:5-6 and Revelation 22:18-19). You should take great care on this website and any others to certify that the things said are truly from the word of God (Ephesians 5:6-11, Colossians 2:6-23, and II Peter 3:14-18). Man is not the standard (Galatians 1:6-12). False teachers skillfully trap people by telling them what they want to hear, rather than what they NEED to hear (II Peter 2:17-22). The Scriptures are the standard (Matthew 4:4 and Luke 11:28; cf. II Timothy 3:15-17). Therefore, you should search them (John 5:39), meditate upon them (Psalms 1:1-2), obey them (James 1:21-25), and continue to hold fast to them (Colossians 1:23 and II Timothy 1:13).

You will have to have a good and honest heart (Luke 8:4-15). You should know that many people think they are right with the Lord and even do “religious works” in His name. The Scriptures however declare that those many are actually wrong (Matthew 7:13-23). Don’t be one of the many. Be one of the few (Luke 13:23-24). Salvation is not an “easy” task (I Peter 4:17-19). Faithfulness is a tough road. From the beginning, God did not mean for anyone to go through this life alone. Write or call me if you’re an honest seeker (contact information).

If you are a member of today’s “churches of Christ”, you are more than likely part of a congregation that is doing things that are not pleasing to God (II Timothy 3:1-4:5 and II Peter 2:1-3; cf. Revelation 2:1-3:22). That means you are lost (James 2:10-12 and II John 1:9). You’ll find plenty of material on this website to help you. However, you’ll need help beyond that. If you are honestly wanting to just do what is right, contact me (contact information). If you are honestly seeking, I will be patient and longsuffering in my attempt to help you obey the truth. That is one of my many duties as an evangelist working for the Lord (II Timothy 2:14-26 and II Timothy 4:1-5).

Please, do not let your questions about your salvation linger. Tomorrow is not promised (James 4:13-16)! Let me help you. I work hard to teach the unadulterated Gospel of Christ to those whom are honestly seeking it (Romans 1:14-17 and Romans 10:9-17). I have known the depths of sin in my past (Ephesians 2:1-10 and Titus 3:3). I was fortunate to live long enough to seek, find, and obey the Lord’s will to have those sins removed to have the hope of eternal life (Acts 2:35-47, Acts 8:4-39, and Acts 18:8). I have dedicated my life seeking to help others to do the same. Get in touch with me to really study the word of God!

Sincerely,

Brian A. Yeager
