Matthew 7:1-6

I    What is meant in Matthew 7:1?

A.   Some things that are not meant
1.  We are not to ignore false teaching Matthew 7:15-20
a.  We are to try the spirits I John 4:1
b.  Mark and avoid those teaching error Romans 16:17-18
2.  Do not mean to ignore falling Christians I Corinthians 5:9-13 and Galatians 6:1-2
a.  We are to withdraw from the disorderly II Thessalonians 3:6
b.  Withdraw from bad I Timothy 6:1-4
B.  It does mean to judge righteous judgments John 7:24
1.  We can know by the word John 12:48
C.  Realize that Christ is the judge John 5:22, Romans 2:16, and II Timothy 4:1

II.   Do not be a hypocrite

A.  Hypocrites are makers of destruction Proverbs 11:9
1.  There are those that train others in this erring way Matthew 23:13
B.  Hyprocrites do not weight the proper matters Matthew 23:23
C.  Christians must be "Christ-like" I Peter 2:21
1.  Honest and righteous Ephesians 4:17-27

III.   Do not cast pearls before swine

A.  Give to those that appreciate Romans 14:6-8
B.  There are times when we must walk away Mark 6:11
C.  We must be thankful for our salvation Luke 17:12-19
