On Thanksgiving Day of 2004 I was searching for something to write for this bulletin.  I was sitting while the family watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade, changing the channel through several occasions of immodest apparel on the performers.  I was enjoying my recliner with my laptop on and a desire to stay ahead on work.  I had “writer’s block”.  Thus, I began thinking of topics about immorality that I could write on.  I figured that if I went to the “Planned Parenthood” website I could surely find something to write on.  Well, I was right.  It took no time.

    The biggest problem was choosing what to actually write on from what I read on their left-wing website.  On the top of the front page of their website I read this:
 

“Giving Thanks
     The beginning of November was rough for all of us in the pro-choice movement, but now we have much to be grateful for — particularly the activists and donors who have become energized by these trying times. To all of you, our deepest gratitude.”  http://www.plannedparenthood.com/

     The next item on their website is what really caught my attention.  The headline read: “Dr. Kinsey's Sex Revolution”.  There was a link to an article that would talk about: “Arts and Culture — Right-wing hardliners are having a field day with the opening of the film, Kinsey. Released nationwide on November 12 to resounding critical acclaim, Kinsey illuminates the life and work of famed sex researcher Alfred Kinsey, whose studies of human sexuality electrified American society in the late 1940s and '50s.”  Their article was a hate article against people who have godly standards.  Their opinion was disgusting.  The fact that Planned Parenthood is PRO-HOMOSEXUALITY became clear in the article they wrote on their website.

 The article I read had the following paragraphs contained therein:

“Like lawyers and other people, Kinsey had sex, too. He also found himself in his work and in the pages of his books. His personal journey to escape sexual stigma and gain self-acceptance is one of the stories that makes the film about him so powerful.

Many on the religious right, however, do not view his probable bisexuality in the same way. They are fond of justifying homophobia, and other battlefronts of the culture wars, with the ambivalent slogan, ‘Hate the sin, not the sinner.’ In Kinsey's case, right-wing extremists are quite willing to damn the sinner as well.

Citing some of Kinsey's own sexual explorations, the possibility that he may have been not entirely straight, that he might have belonged to a sexual minority, and that he had recreational sex outside of a loving, dedicated, unbroken marriage, is just more tinder for the ideological flame. Right-wing ideologues demonize Kinsey for his exploration of his sex life, for his impact on ours, and for not reporting the people he interviewed to the police!”

     “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:48).  When a “right-winger” such as myself says that homosexuality is sinful, are we damning the sinner?  NO, the sinner has damned themselves.  The earnings [wages] of sin is death (Romans 6:23).  I know that because the word of God judges men and we have the word of God that fully equips us with knowledge of what is right and what is wrong (II Timothy 3:16-17).  The typical left-winger says that we ought not to judge people and they pervert a context that deals with hypocritical judging (Matthew 7:1-5).  In fact, they ignore that the word of God instructs us to judge righteous judgment (John 7:24).  The question in reality, about homosexuality, is whether or not God condemns those who practice homosexuality?

     Outside of the example of Sodom and Gomorrah we also have other Scriptures.  Notice a few from the Old Testament and the New: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination” (Leviticus 18:22).  “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:13).  “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet” (Romans 1:26-27).  “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate [homosexuals], nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” (I Corinthians 6:9-10).  God is clear, homosexuality is wrong and marriage is intended to be between a man and a woman: “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh” (Matthew 19:4-5)?

     According to Planned Parenthoods words they would consider God a right-wing extremist.  By their stands of pro-abortion and pro-homosexuality they most surely are not godly people.  The Planned Parenthood organization is a vehicle for bringing forth immorality to this world we live in.  They are pro-sin which makes them anti-God.  They may hate us so-called “right-wing extremists” who oppose sin, but when Heaven and Hell are in the balance godly people do not care who hates them.  Godly people that stand for the moral right know that God loves them and that is all that matters.  Planned Parenthood will continue to support immoral things like Kinsley’s movie and the taking of innocent life.  They are mistaken however if they think that Christians will become silent because we are the minority.  While numbers may not be on the side of righteousness, God is and that alone is sufficient (Romans 8:31).
