Some Things We Ought
to Never Do as Christians

Introduction:

2. They say: We can agree to disagree - NOT SO, (I Corinthians 1:10).
3. They say: We’ll lose numbers if we preach on that – GOOD (I Corinthians 5:6-7).
4. They say: I’ll lose friends if I say that – They’re your friends while committing sins (Ephesians 5:11)?
5. Preachers say: I’ll lose financial support if I speak out against that – WHY ARE THEY SELLING THE TRUTH (Proverbs 23:23)?A. Peter made a right statement in response to the Lord saying they would be offended because of Him: Matthew 26:331. He did not support statement at all times: Matthew 26:34; CF. Matthew 26:69-75B. Jesus is a stumbling block to:
2. Yet, he did not allow his failure of shame to stop him from ultimately showing he was not ashamed of our Lord: Acts 4:19-20; CF. Acts 5:29
3. Jesus said: Matthew 11:61. Those who do not believe: Romans 9:32-33
2. To the Jews which believe not: I Corinthians 1:23-24
3. To the disobedient: I Peter 2:6-8
Conclusion:A. There are many more things we should never do as Christians:1. They would be summarized by “sin not”: I Corinthians 15:34B. A true child of God spends much time in getting things right.
2. One has to know the wage of sin: Romans 6:231. It does not take much to lose your soul: James 2:10-11
