1. How many days did it take to create the earth?  
    •        Six, (Genesis 1:31-2:3).

2. On what day was man and woman created?  
    •        Sixth, (Genesis 1:26-27; 31).

3. What rules did Adam and Eve have to follow?  
    •        Be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28).  
    •        Subdue [control] the earth (Genesis 1:28).  
    •        Rule over the creatures of the earth (Genesis 1:28).  
    •        Use the herbs and animals for food (Genesis 1:29-30).  
    •        Dress the Garden of Eden and keep it (Genesis 2:5; 15).  
    •        Not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17; 3:2-3).

    •        The ground was cursed so that they would have sorrow all the days of their lives in toiling  
    to eat from it finding thorns and thistles (Genesis 3:18-19).  
    •        Hard work for food (Genesis 3:19).  
    •        Death (Genesis 3:19; cf. I Corinthians 15:22 and Romans 5:12).  
    •        They were driven out of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:23-24).

5. Who was the first person born on this earth of a woman?  
    •        Cain, (Genesis 4:1).

6. What sin(s) did Cain commit?  
    •        Cain, unlike his brother who brought the best to God, had a sacrifice unacceptable unto
    the Lord (Genesis 4:3-5 and Hebrews 11:4).  
    •        Cain killed Abel, his brother out of jealousy (Genesis 4:8 and I John 3:11-12).  
    •        Cain lied to God (Genesis 4:9).

7. What punishment would Cain face?   
    •        Cursed from getting good fruit from the ground (Genesis 4:11-12).  
    •        He would be a fugitive [one running from punishment] and vagabond [person without a
    home] in the earth (Genesis 4:12).

8. Where did Cain’s wife come from?
    •        She would have been his sister (Genesis 5:4).

9. Who was the third son of Adam and Eve?
    •        Seth, (Genesis 4:25; cf. Luke 3:38).

10. Who was the oldest person listed in Genesis chapter five?
    •        Methuselah was 969 years old (Genesis 5:27).

11. Where in the Bible do we find it explicitly written that Enoch was the seventh from Adam?  
    •        Jude verse 14

12. Who do we find in Genesis five that never died?
    •        Enoch (Genesis 5:22-24 and Hebrews 11:5).

13. Why did God destroy man?
    •        The wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts
    of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5).

14. Did Noah please God?
    •        Yes, (Genesis 6:22, Hebrews 11:7, and II Peter 2:5).

15. Were there two of every kind of animal on the Ark?
    •        No, (Genesis 7:2-5; cf. 8:20).

16. How long did the waters prevail upon the earth?  
    •        150 days (Genesis 7:24).

17. Will the seasons of each year cease to change so long as the earth stands?
    •        No, (Genesis 8:22).

18. Why did God set a bow in the sky?
    •        As a reminder of His promise not to destroy the earth by water again (Genesis 9:13-16).

19. How long did Noah live?
    •        950 years (Genesis 9:29).

20. What good things can we learn in Genesis chapter ten?  
    •        We can continue from Genesis five to learn the descendents of Adam and tie that with
    that to our Lord.  
    •        By looking at the descendents of Japheth, Ham, and Shem we can see the divisions of
    lands and know who we’ve come from (Genesis 10:19).  
    •        The Gentile nations were of Japheth, who migrated north to Europe (Genesis 10:2-5).  
    •        The Canaanites were from Ham and would have gone as far as Africa (Genesis 10:6-20).  
    •        Shem would have made up the lands intersecting with Ham and the Arabic areas (Genesis
    10:21-31).

21. What caused the division of languages on the earth?
    •        Man tried to reach heaven through the building of a tower.  God therefore concluded that
    man being of one language would equip them to do whatever they wanted.  This was not good
    so he divided them and confounded their language (Genesis 11:1-9).

22. What was “wrong” with Sarai?
    •        She could not have children (Genesis 11:30).
