1. In what manner were the children of Israel expected to bring the offering of every man?
    •        Willingly with his heart (Exodus 25:2).

2. Could the children of Israel make the tabernacle any way they wanted to?
    •        No, it had to be according to the pattern (Exodus 25:9; 40; 26:30, and Hebrews 8:5).

3. What was the object listed which would go inside the ark?
    •        The testimony which the Lord was going to give to Moses (Exodus 25:16).
    •        More would be later added (Hebrews 9:4).

4. The cherubims were to be put on both ends of the mercy seat (Exodus 25:18-19).

5 How often was the shewbread to be before the Lord on the table?
    •        Always (Exodus 25:30).

6. How specific was the Lord in describing how He wanted the curtains of the tabernacle to be?
    •        The Lord was specific about everything.  With the curtains, He even detailed the number, designs
    thereon, materials, length, etc. (Exodus 26:1-13).

7. Where was the mercy seat to be placed?
    •        In the most holy place (Exodus 26:34; Hebrews 9:3-5).

8. What kind of oil was to be used for the lamp?
    •        Pure olive oil to burn always (Exodus 27:20).

9. Who was to order [tend to] the tabernacle of the congregation, without the vail, which is before the testimony from
evening to morning?
    •        Aaron and his sons (Exodus 27:21).

10. What were the names of Aaron’s sons?
    •        Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar (Exodus 28:1).

11. Why were garments to be made for Aaron?
    •        For glory and for beauty (Exodus 28:2).
    •        We do not see this principle continue in the N.T. (Matthew 23:5ff.) as the Old Law was one of the flesh
    (Romans 8:3-4).

12. Where were the names of the children of Israel to be placed on the priest’s garment?
    •        Upon the shoulders of the Ephod [holy vest] and upon the breastplate which was made with cunning
    work (Exodus 28:9-12; 15-21; 29).

13. Where were the Urim and the Thummim to be placed?
    •        Upon the breastplate of judgment (Exodus 28:30; Leviticus 8:6-8) since they were tools to help discern
    the Lord’s will (Numbers 27:21 and I Samuel 28:6).

14. Why was there a golden bell on the robe of the ephod?
    •        “And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet,
    round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about: A golden bell and a pomegranate,
    a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.  And it shall be upon Aaron to
    minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he
    cometh out, that he die not” (Exodus 28:33-35).

15. What was to be done to cover the nakedness of the priest?
    •        “And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs
    they shall reach” (Exodus 28:42).

16. What was supposed to be done to hallow the priests?
    •        Many things which are noted in Exodus 29:1-37.

17. How often were two lambs of the first year to be offered to the Lord?
    •        “Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.  
    The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even: And with the one
    lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of
    wine for a drink offering.  And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the
    meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made
    by fire unto the Lord.  This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the
    tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee” (Exodus 29:
    38-42).

18. Where did God promise to dwell?
    •        “And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.  And they shall know that I am the
    Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the Lord
    their God” (Exodus 29:45-46).

19. How often was incense to be burned on the altar before the Lord?
    •        “And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn
    incense upon it.  And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual
    incense before the Lord throughout your generations” (Exodus 30:7-8).

20. What was to be given by the children of Israel when there was a census [a sum] taken?
    •        “When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a
    ransom for his soul unto the Lord, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when
    thou numberest them.  This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a
    shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the
    Lord.  Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an
    offering unto the Lord.  The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when
    they give an offering unto the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls.  And thou shalt take the atonement
    money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that
    it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls”
    (Exodus 30:12-16).

21. What was the holy anointing oil to be used for?
    •        “And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it
    shall be an holy anointing oil.  And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark
    of the testimony, And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of
    incense, And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.  And thou shalt sanctify
    them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.  And thou shalt anoint Aaron and
    his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.  And thou shalt speak
    unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations”
    (Exodus 30:25-31).

22. What would happen if someone made oil or perfume like God instructed as His ingredients for the holy anointing
oil and the holy perfume outside of His purposes?
    •        They would be cut off from among the people (Exodus 30:33; 37-38).

23. Who did God give the spirit for wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in all manner of workmanship?
    •        Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe
    of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted that they could make all that God commanded (Exodus
    31:2-3; 6-7).

24. To what people did the Lord make the Sabbath holy unto?
    •        The children of Israel (Exodus 31:13-14).

25. What was used to write upon the tables of the testimony?
    •        The finger of God (Exodus 31:18).
