The following class and sermon were brought about by emails received from Steve Stegall of El Paso who had
questions based on things he has seen in El Paso. Steve is not a member at Sunrise Acres. Steve made some
comments about Sunrise and other matters. So we invited him to come and hear these matters being discussed in an
open forum. Frankly, the congregation here is tired of backbiting and bickering and would rather handle matters in the
open unlike the other "groups" perverting the name of the church here in El Paso (I Kings 18:17ff.).

Below are two added audio files that came forth from the class on Sunday. I (Brian A. Yeager) contacted Yates Folk
(preacher at the liberal church in Anthony, TX) who allegedly had gossiped and involved himself in a division at
Sunrise (I called him on Monday the 14th). I gave him two options. He could come and talk to the brethren at Sunrise
at 7:00 Tuesday or seven of the brethren at Sunrise would come to Anthony to talk with him at their Wednesday
evening meeting. He did not want us coming there and opted to come here. I taught a class on Tuesday evening that
opened many doors for a discussion on authority, if Yates would have decided to take that route. He remained silent.
He met with the men afterwards which is recorded below.
Why share all of this? It is sickening here in El Paso how much gossiping and backbiting goes on between the
"churches" instead of open studies (Galatians 6:1 and Acts 15). We want to be the one congregation who deals with
these situations openly. Thus, to the world wide web, I submit the following four audio files in hope to show others
who have big mouths and closed Bibles what will happen if they keep being divisive towards us (I Timothy 5:20)!

While Yates Folk continues to be a liberal preacher (which means he is in error as a false teacher - Romans 16:17-18,
II Peter 2:1-3, and II John 9-11), it seems as though he has ceased his gossiping. Yates has tried to correct some of
the damage he did to some of our past members. He made us aware of that tonight (1/17/08).
