God is Impartial

Romans 2:11 "For there is no respect of persons with God."

Acts 10:34-35 "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him."

Introduction: We are going to look at the comfort that comes in knowing that God does not look at one group of people above any other. In the world it is money and status; in the church it is much of the same.

I. God declares that all have sinned

All accountable Romans 3:23"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (not children Ezekiel 18:20)

II. Christ died for all

I Timothy 2:5-6 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Hebrews 2:9-10"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings."

III. The Gospel is for all

Matthew 28:19"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost"

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

IV. The invitation is for all

Acts 2:39 "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

John 7:37 "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink."

Revelation 22:17 "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."

If you come correctly he will not cast you away - John 6:37 "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."

V. Same conditions apply to everyone

James 2:10"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

VI. Salvation is in the same church for all

Ephesians 5:23 "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."

ONE BODY - Ephesians 4:4 The body is the church Ephesians 1:22-23, Romans 12:4-5 (people are the church), and Galatians 3:26-28 All who have been baptized into Christ are one

VII. The same judgment awaits us all

I Peter 1:17 "And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear."

Romans 14:12 "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

II Corinthians 5:10"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

VIII. The same plan of salvation is for all

Psalms 78:21-22 "Therefore the Lord heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel; Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation."
