God's Plan for Leadership in the Church
Introduction:
Congregations in the First Century are an example to us. The
Apostles, whom were guided by the Holy Spirit (John
16:13), set in order a plan for congregations to have elders
Acts
14:23 and Titus 1:5.
Those elders would need to be qualified Titus
1:6-9 and I Timothy 3:1-7.
Yet, there was obviously a time in which a congregation would not have
a plurality of qualifed men. What then were they to do, and what
should those congregations today do that do not have qualified men to serve.
